Child Dev. Program

During lab periods, high school students learn about children’s growth development in physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The lab class is connected to the Early Childhood Development course and students must be 16 years and older. High school lab students will only work under the supervision of the professional staff and will have daily tasks such as cleaning of toys, interacting with children, comforting children during rest time, and other child care center tasks. Lab students are present daily and are graded based on their participation and attendance.
